The following are just a few of our Aventura customers. We hope to have many more customers post their planes in the "Customer Corner" as time goes on. The "Customer Corner" is always being updated so check back from time to time to meet new owner/builders.
If you are an Aventura owner we would encourage you to please send us a picture of your Aventura so that we can post you and your plane on our website, even if your plane is not finished.
Aventura II
My plane has a 912S Rotax engine and a long list of extras (extra weight too, but hey, the 100 horsepower engine can take care of that!). I have 100 hours on it now and been to many fly-ins and air shows around Australia with it, trying to convince other pilots that water-flying is the way to go.
I keep the plane in a hangar, but often bring it to my home on Lake Macquarie near Sydney where I have a jetty for water operations from my back yard.
The fun-factor is even greater than I thought it would be! Can't get that grin off my face for a week everytime I come back from operating off the water.

Aventura II
Harry's Aventura II is outfitted with the 582, he has owned this aircraft for 3 years. It has over 185 hours and has flown to Oshkosh and back.

Aventura UL
Friends David Curtis and Mike McKusick built Aventura UL's together in 1996. "We both had very little experience building and helped each other, and that made it a real fun project", said David. Mike has since moved on to an Aventura II rebuild and is now starting to fly it. The pictures shown to the left are of David Curtis's Aventura. The project was started the end of January 1996 and was in the air June 1996. The build time was 220 hours because of the custom features added to the aircraft.
The first picture is Dick Smothers (of the Smothers Brothers) going over my Aventura. Dick and Tommy Smothers showed up at our club fly in near Flint Michigan a couple of years ago. They were performing locally and they both have an aviation interest. Dick Smothers on the right and myself on the left.
My Aventura UL is #0008 with a 447 with an Ivo prop. Electric start is the latest addition... great for restarts on the water. Michigan has a lot of lakes, making the Aventura the perfect ultralight.

Aventura II
This 2001 Aventura 11 was a “new” factory demo purchased by Rick Dean just before Oshkosh in 2001. It now has almost 170 hours and is mostly flown all around the East and Central Florida area. Rick keeps it hangared near his home, at the Merritt Island Airport, conveniently located just 5 miles from the Rockledge factory.
The plane is loaded with all the options, including a 912ULS engine, doors, landing lights, Kevlar hull, 18 gallon fuel tank, BRS 1200 ballistic chute, Garmin 295 GPS, and Bendix-King radio and Garmin transponder with mode “C” encoding, to allow flights through most all airspaces. With it’s neon orange and blue sunburst color scheme, it’s easily seen by other traffic.
Rick previously had 
a Cessna 172, but got bored doing touch and gos at airports. As an ultralight flight instructor, he also had a 2-seat Quicksilver ultralight trainer on floats, which was a lot of fun, but limited in range and to more restricted wind conditions. He has found his Aventura II amphib. to be the best of all worlds. “You can land almost anywhere, yet still travel some distance. I love this plane. Everyone who flies with me, no matter what experience they may have in advanced aircraft is, without exception, amazed at how much fun this plane is. I always have a waiting list of regular pilots, flight instructors and airline pilots who want to go flying with me.”

Aventura UL
This is a picture of Bill Suchner and his Aventura on Handy Lake, Michigan. Bill finished building his UL version this summer (2002) and says he is having a blast flying off the many lakes in his area. "Building her was a challenge but with the help of a few friends I managed to pull it off. Flying the plane has been wonderful. She cruises 55 to 60 mph and its nice to finally have a windshield." said Bill.
Aventura II
This Aventura II was built by Eduardo A. Volpe for his friend Chapete from Buenos Aires, Argentina. This Aventura was completed in 1997, and now has flown over 500 hours. The wings are a polyester cover, painted with urethane. The aircraft is powered by the Rotax 912 S.

Aventura HP
Built in 1998 this single seat Aventura HP is powered with the Rotax 503 DCDI (factory maintained), with 253 total hours on both the engine and airframe. This aircraft includes features like:

Aventura II
Built by Larry Kent of Gaylord Michigan. Larry & his son Josh both enjoy flying their Aventura II off local area lakes. Their Aventura II was completed in the summer of 2000. This Aventura II is powered with the Rotax 582.
This Aventura II is loaded with options like: electric start, electric flaps, BRS, strobes and nav lights, custom decaling, sunburst wing design, A full body paint job done to match the wings, complete instrumentation, removable doors, front hatch, 18 gallon fuel tank, and a horn for buzzing the beach!

Aventura II
This is Sal Capra's Aventura II. Sal built his Aventura in his garage over a three month period, taking a total of 234 hours to complete. It is powered by a Rotax 912-UL 4 cylinder 4 stroke engine and uses auto fuel and oil.
Some of the upgrades were, baggage trays, rear side windows, VSI, upgraded tires, 912 w/engine cowling, IVO magnum prop, fuel gauge, and front hatch. Sal has his own Aventura II webpage available to those that would like to know more about this aircraft, click here to visit Sal's webpage!

Aventura II
Built by Steve Bensinger of the Ann Arbor Michigan area. Steve Completed his Aventura II in the summer of 1996.
Steve has a fairly full VFR panel including: Compass, Airspeed Indicator, Vertical Speed Indicator, Altimeter, Airband VHF Radio , CB Radio, Engine Information System that reads out 9 different readings, Various Switches,
Fuses, and Indicator Lights.

Aventura II
Owner Dan Schmidt (Florida) finished building this Aventura II in late 2005. This plane has been featured on the cover of the July, ’06 issue of Kit Plane magazine. With custom striping and a wood veneer dash and lathe turned wooden knobs, this plane always turns heads.
